Known for its lush jungles, beautiful beaches, exciting nightlife, and cultural richness, Tulum is perfect for couples looking for an elopement experience that’s a perfect mix of luxurious, relaxing, and adventurous. Legally Getting Married in Mexico While foreigners can legally get married in Mexico, the process will be a bit more lengthy and involved. Beyond photo I.D.s and passports, you’ll need apostilled birth certificates translated into Spanish, a tourist permit, and a special permit to get married in Mexico (issued by Mexican immigration). You are also required to get a medical exami ..read more

Bridge House Glen Oaks Elopement | Big Sur

I started working with Stephanie and Paul only a few weeks before their elopement, but despite the time crunch, their day turned out to be the most amazing experience! They chose to stay at Glen Oaks, a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods, and ended up with an upgrade to their best cabin - the Bridge House. This made the perfect getting ready space, where I captured all of their details and their first look surrounded by the quiet sounds of the forest and the evening sunlight spilling in through the trees. After contemplating where to have their ceremony, they chose a spot next to the r ..read more

Sedona, Arizona — Justin and Leo love traveling and taking photos together so Justin had the idea to incorporate those two things into his proposal to Leo. Normally, Justin is the one taking the photos, but this time they both would be the ones in front of the camera - and Leo had no idea there would be a surprise proposal at the end. We met up at Cathedral Rock in Sedona to start their session and after hiking to the top and soaking in the views, Justin picked the perfect moment to ask Leo to marry him and of course, he said yes! Such a fun time getting to capture Ada and JJ at The Quiraing in Scotland as they celebrated their one year anniversary! This beautiful location features some of the Isle of Skye’s best views and is one of my favorite spots from my whole time here. These two brought the best energy and were so excited to include their motorcycle for some photos at the end since biking is something they love to do together. So happy with how these turned out! Old Man of Storr Couple Session

During my trip to Scotland, I had the pleasure of getting to photograph Anastasia and her husband, Felix at one of the most iconic locations on the Isle of Skye — the Old Man of Storr! The rocky pinnacles of The Storr sit on a steep sloping green hill, making for a stunning backdrop for photos. Hiking up here is a bit of a workout, but totally worth it. Anastasia and Felix brought a fun, editorial vibe to the session with their outfits and posing - Anastasia being a photographer herself, collaborated with me on ideas to create some of my favorite images ever. I already can’t wait to come back ..read more

Gabby and Mike’s Sedona elopement was the perfect mixture of laid-back and adventurous. They started their day at the Enchantment Resort where they hung out with their pups and took their time getting ready together. After a beautiful ceremony led by Jen, a local officiant, we made our way up to Merry Go Round Rock (a fun 4x4 adventure in itself) and there they shared a private picnic and took sunset portraits. They also chose to save their private vows to share at this viewpoint right as the sun slowly dropped behind the mountains, which was a really special way to close out the day. Photogr ..read more

Cap Rock Engagement Session

After photographing Katie and Jack’s engagement session at Cap Rock, I am bumping this location up as one of my favorites in Joshua Tree National Park! Cap Rock trail is less than half a mile long and is almost completely flat so it’s super accessible and it has a variety in scenery — from boulder piles that are fun to climb on, to fields of Joshua Trees, and open desert with mountains in the background. For Katie and Jack’s session, we incorporated all of the above into their photos and I’m so so excited about the gallery we created together. They showed up with a few ideas of their own but a ..read more

Taylor and Noah weren’t originally going to get engagement photos taken, but after seeing that I had availability during a timeframe that lined up with some of their travel plans, they decided to reach out about a session in Death Valley National Park and I’m so happy they did!! We met up at sunrise to catch the first light of the day at one of the most scenic spots in the park and despite the packed parking lot, we managed to find a couple of pockets of privacy so that it felt like we were the only ones there! These two picked the perfect color scheme for their outfits to compliment the scene ..read more

When Lindsay and Chris first reached out to me, they shared that what they wanted for their elopement was a private, adventurous, experience in a beautiful place in the desert. In the end that is exactly what they got! Initially they had a slot canyon location in mind, but they were not offering permits for photography or ceremonies at the time so we shifted plans and began to explore other options. Alstrom Point is a place that I had recently visited and LOVED so I was stoked when they said yes to the idea after I shared it with them! Alstrom Point is a viewpoint overlooking Lake Powell just ..read more

Ally and Gabe have been visiting Joshua Tree National Park together for years so when they started planning their wedding, it became an obvious location choice for them! They invited a small group of their loved ones to join them in the desert for their day and also set aside time to spend just the two of them - making the experience the perfect blend of intimacy and shared celebration. The morning of the wedding, they got ready separately with their families and then had their first look outside the airbnb property. Then, we headed into the park for some exploring before meeting up with ever ..read more
