Mavericks House in Half Moon Bay
The Mavericks House is such a gem of a wedding venue because it offers so many great things all in one place.
An amazing view and backdrop for your ceremony & reception. You can have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception or an outdoor one. They even have a wonderful getting ready room for you and your wedding party.
A venue/event coordinator is also included and they also have a wonderful catering menu.
As a wedding vendor, they really took care of me too — every time I’ve photographed there.
Here are some highlights from past weddings at the Maveri ..read more

Here is a sweet (& stylish!) winter elopement that rounded out my 2023 season. So thankful for clients like these and since they were a referral - so grateful to my community as well.
Thank you 2023. While, there was so much joy and celebrations throughout the year, there also moments of lows sprinkled in there and really engrained that - time is fleeting. Take that photo, book that trip, answer that call from your parent or lola, hug your furbabies… just love up on your loves oh so much. No regrets ..read more

So, yes, I’m not great at posting on social media, except maybe for stories. It’s much easier on stories - I don’t have to think, I can just post and if it is that terrible - it’s ok, it’ll go away in the next 24 hours. But now the algorithm wants us to be on reels, and that isn’t as easy.
Anyway, this blog post - I am guilty of not posting it at all on instagram and I REALLY SHOULD! (I AM SO BEHIND ON POSTING - I AM SO SORRY) This couple and wedding was one of my “covid” weddings where they booked me in 2019 for their wedding in 2020. Well, we all know how that went…. but 2022 was/is a differ ..read more

Well hello 2023! Be prepared for a lot of these catch up posts, but hopefully seeing love and adventures will put a smile on your face, especially if you love rescue dogs and a rescue pittie to be exact!
I actually met Katherine a few years ago through my work with a co-op preschool in Cupertino that her mother was a part of. Over those years, I’ve gotten to know Katherine and just how bright, ambitious, and kind she is. If I had to choose one word to describe Katherine, it would be, simply- sunshine. And when you meet her - you’ll see just what I mean.
So when she reached out and said she had ..read more

I still dream about this beautiful intimate San Francisco City Hall Elopement with a reception dinner at Piperade SF (which sadly, I hear is closing after 20 years but its for a well deserved retirement).
Again, this has been sitting on my drafts and had just been waiting for some worthy words to post about it. This stylish couple were just so fun, kind and really trusted me throughout the process and even after (when creating their much awaited wedding album). I mean, also - um they are absolute stunners!
Thank you so much for trusting me.

My favorite parts of a wedding day is seeing (and feeling) all the love & support from the community of guests who are all in attendance to celebrate the couple. This wedding was so full of that. Like a warm hug - despite the weather.
As I was driving to capture this wedding at B.R. Cohn in Glen Ellen, an Alanis Morrissett song came on - you know the one, and it seriously was perfect and serendipitous. The rain was a great detail and memory from this sweet couple’s wedding.

I really enjoyed this Deer Park Villa wedding. What can I say? This wedding! This couple!
I so loved getting to know them… funny thing.. I needed to take my dog in for a check up and couldn’t get an appointment with our regular vet but they had suggested 3 other places to check out and the one I chose to make an appointment with - ended up being the one that the bride worked at!!! Maybe I had subconsciously remembered we had talked about our pets and that she was a vet tech but I swear it was the universe at play… and now I get to see her whenever our pup has a check up, if she’s working that ..read more
