I swapped over from an A-Class to the new gen Kona, transferred out the mandatory 'Spare Pound Coin' we use for things like shopping trolleys or whatever, but there's nowhere in the Kona to keep things like coins without them noisily sliding around.
So, what's your solution?
Cut a bit of non-slip mat and put it in one of the armrest compartments? Clip a coin-holder to... somewhere? Something around the sun-visor card holder clips? Secret coin compartment already in the car that I just...

My parents took delivery of a new 2024 Kona and have been loving it so far. I went through the various systems with them and gave them a primer on AC charging and DC rapid charging and I saw that there are two independent limiters for charging; one for AC and one for DC.
I set the DC one to 80% thinking this would be good practice. Later that day I took them to a Gridserve charger (one of the 300 kW units with the "hoop" design at the top with the missing section) to demonstrate how to use...

Has anyone else experienced issues with the obstructed camera, the one located at the top of the windshield? Despite thoroughly cleaning the windshield, the problem persists. Previously, this was an intermittent fault that resolved itself twice, but it now seems to be a permanent issue. It disables the DAW functions.
I have a service appointment with the dealer scheduled in three weeks, but I'm curious if there's any potential reset or action I can take in...

Hi team.
I have had my Kona 48kw for a month and noticed several times a battery drain over the weekends.
The last was a 2% drop from Friday evening until Monday morning.
I park my car under a roof but not heated in any way and outside temperatures were from 1C to 15C over the weekend here in Romania.
I want to add that the first time I noticed this was in week 2 of ownership and it dropped like 3% then and I thought it`s caused by the fact that I kept connecting with the phone...

EDIT: I've got this info now, battery is marked the same as the Niro.
... crawl underneath the left-rear and read the label that describes the battery cell layout? This one is for the 2023+ Niro EV.
It's the difference in the 358V and 96s1p numbers that I'm interested in, as underlined in the image.
Thanks ..read more

I thought I would give a few comments on going from a Kona 1 to Kona 2 after a week and a half of ownership and 500 miles, so very early days, but here goes. These are practical everyday things that I notice, which make life easier or are worthy of comment.
The larger boot and extra rear legroom are both very welcome with growing grandkids who were fed up of sitting crosslegged in the Kona1! But my dog is very wary of the beeping and power hatch - I guess she will get used to it.
The power...
