Seeing some very skinny fish lately that are likely spawned out and had many reports of a lesser bite this past week. Catfish have been good. Finding fish shallow and deep on Catfish Bubblegum, liver, worms, and punch bait. Trophy class and eaters have been steady drifting natural baits along humps, ledges, and flats. Springtime is upon us with the redbuds blooming, so pretty much all scaled fish are either spawning or moving shallow to start soon. Seeing lots of smaller males making beds. Eater catfish are good on baited holes from 10-40 feet on Catfish Bubblegum, liver, worms, and punch bait. Trophy and eater sized catfish are good drifting cutbait along ledges and flats. Largemouth have been moving up with plenty of buck bass being caught shallow preparing beds. The big gals are a bit deeper in structure.
