Week 15 began with our fishermen being rained on, but that did not deter them from this competition! First place went to John Brasher, who had 5 fish totaling 11.88 lbs total. He is shown above with the biggest fish he caught! With a difference of .88 lbs, Jonathan Harris and Fischer Houser (Bait Shop Bandits) earned the second place spot with 5 fish and an 11.00 lb bag. This week, Alex Smeraglia and Johnny Hill broke the record for the biggest total weight caught in the Friday Night Bass Contest. They previously held the spot from their weight of 26.65 lbs in week 10. This week, however, they came in first with 5 fish totaling 27.24 lbs. They also got Big Fish too, with a 6.91 lb bass. Second place went to Mike Forrester and Scotty Lewis, who had 5 fish totaling 14.63 lbs. Right behind them, in third place, was Jeff England and Tony Marlowe, with 5 bass at 12.26 lbs. Week 12 marked Johnny and Alex's fourth week of getting first place at the Lake Purdy Friday Night Bass Contest. They won with 5 fish at a total weight of 16.46 lbs. They also got Big Fish with their 6.18 lb bass. Second place went to Zac and Joseph Hall (Team Hall) who had 5 fish at a total weight of 12.67 lbs. They almost got Big Fish too with a 5.24 lb bass! This week our fishermen had to fish through stormy weather and tough competition. Johnny Hill, who usually fishes with Alex Smeraglia, fished by himself Friday night, and still came out on top!
