I was told by a mechanic friend that I should change the power steering fluid as it was very dark in color.
Reading the owner's manual, it says to use Dexron II/III ATF.
However, I remember the original power steering color being yellow (oil color). Looked more like regular power steering fluid.
Is factory-filled power steering fluid really Dexron II/III?
Is there any Dexron II/III without red dye?
Is regular power steering fluid better than ATF?

Hello everyone
I purchased a 2006 Highlander Limited from an authorized Toyota dealer (unfortunatelly) in Minnesota in November. I have had many problems such as O2 sensor failure since I bought it, but my last problem caused the vehicle to be stranded on the road with my family.
While trying to shift the vehicle from parked (P) to drive mode (D) on Saturday, the gear shift was locked. It was not possible to pass from the parking position in any way. I fiddled with the brake pedal and the...

For a long time, I am going to buy a new android head unit for my car. I would not want to spend money on a cheap Chinese device that will break in a month.
This seems like not a bad option (judging by the reviews). Has anyone already bought a device from this company?

Help. The first thing I did was sprayed penetrating oil round bolts and hub. I tried a dead bow hammer. I have tapped out the holes (they are full of rust) and installed jack bolts. It cracked around the jack bolt holes and I can't move it. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Shortly before the 3/36 factory warranty expired, we discovered a fairly significant water leak coming in from the roof. It would pour down the rear pillar. After some research, I found several posts on forums about a design issue that would allow water to enter if the nose of the vehicle was facing up on an incline while raining. Having always parked in a garage until recently, this explains why we only now found the issue.
We took the car to the local dealer (middle-TN) who found a...
