It comes with 64gb Ram and a 1TB Kingston NVMe drive (I've a spare 2TB drive il add) AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, AMD Radeon 780M. It comes with a ton of connectivity and is absolutely tiny. Absolutely ideal in my cinema room so i can watch my UK stuff via VPN. Just looking at the likes of Minisforum, Beelink and Geekon and many are out of stock, are the MOBO/CPU combinations about to be updated does anybody know? The Miniforum Neptune HX99G has been cut a fair bit in price and uses a Ryzen 6900HX CPU and RX 6650M GPU, any ideas if this is about to be superseded? Thanks ..read more

Hello fellow gurus! Recently, I started to give a lot of though on the limitations of a HTPC. You see, I have a Asrock Mini X300 more than capable of playing media content on a 43" screen. Limitations, as in higher than FHD content or anything above 720p/1080. Sometimes I pay no attention, sometimes it's plain as day that the content looks bad. Limitations, as in OS, Linux is not welcomed to streaming quality. And I started to evaluate the streaming devices available, as in a HTPC... HTPC vs Streaming devices ..read more

I found something interesting while looking at computer monitor. 22 inch monitor seem more expensive than 24 and 27 inch ips monitor. And the asus vp228qg 22inch monitor i owned costs $389. Is it because logical size monitor are more healthy to the player/user ? I don't enjoy looking at non logical big screen, can induce fainting and vomiting sensation. Check links below. Great TV, about the best at the time for the price. The Pioneer is fantastic, very loud, but crisp clean audio. Speakers are ok, I just have to watch the active sub! Shakes me off of the settee!
