Hi all, as the title says, after a few days of not driving I found the battery had discharged and the car wouldn't start. We tried jumpstarting it with multiple different jump packs, even with other cars, and nothing. Only "strange" thing is when I try to start the car I get a turtle icon briefly on the dash. While I'm currently stranded in a foreign country during my mini vacation with the car, waiting to hopefully be able to have it towed and fixed tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone may... I was driving to work this morning and heard a strange ticking / clicking noise behind the steering wheel area / upper dash. I put my phone on the upper dash and recorded it. Speed was constant. Wasn’t turning. It seemed to happen when the road wasn’t perfectly smooth (ie - hitting little bumps / expansion joints / etc). I also noticed when I left the house that a traction control (I think) symbol came up on my heads up display, and it went off after about 30 seconds of driving. I live... 2023 V90CC Clicking / Ticking / Rattling Noise (upper dashboard / HUD)- 05/02 Update (NOT FIXED ..read more

2022 v90cc / 31k Going to work on Sunday, from time to time when I would pull out from a stop I'd hear a thump from the rear and feel it in the seat. Monday the same so I took the car home and didn't drive it. Drove her to my favourite dealer today and they asked if she ever had any work done on the rear diff. "No", says I, "I bought this off the showroom floor with 14 miles on it". I acquired this v90cc at a different dealer and have been servicing it there--- never authorising any work... 18 S90L roof drain hose and driver side carpet removal

Hi all, just as the title says. It rained recently and I noticed my carpet was wet on the driver side. I was able to dry the top without much problem but the insulation underneath is still damp. Are there instructions to remove it/lift it up so it can air dry? the culprit for this was a kinked drain hose from the sunroof. It’s kinked right next to the driver side dashboard (see pic). I also need to replace that since trying to unkink it didn’t work much. Edit: S90L [ATTACH... 18 S90L roof drain hose and driver side carpet removal ..read more

Bottom of windscreen/cowl panel water interusion? Impact on keyless entry?

Got some pesky water intrusion in the car where it pools up on rear driver side in my 2018 S90L. I've checked and cleaned up all the sunroof drain, and there is no visible water intrusion anywhere around the top of the front or rear windscreen, or by the shark fin showing up on the headliner or making raindrops on the interior. I did notice the bottom of the front cowl panel (under wipers) wasn't correctly clipped in all along the bottom edge of the windscreen, and the lower windscreen trim... For those who may be interested, here's my actual service and repair log for the first 4 years 40K miles of owning my 2020 factory ordered V90 Inscription T6. Regarding "repairs", I brought the car to the dealer once for Pilot Assist disengaging (after this happened a number of times), once for the center screen blanking out and rebooting (happened once), and twice for BLIS disengaging (happened around 6 times). These were "repaired" with software updates. Lastly, the front wiper blade... 2020 V90 T6 Inscription 4 yr/40K mile ownership experience ..read more

Hi, Had a cracked windshield replaced through safelite with OEM with calibration done. noticed the rain sensor seems a bit off after a few days compared to how it was before the replacement. Still seems to work and detect rain but wanted to check if this was correctly installed and if i should get it fixed ? Remember the tech changing a plastic cover that is installed on the rain sensor that came off while replacing it on the new windshield. thanks ..read more

Hey folks! Have owned a 2020 V90R since new. Have a weird/unique issue it seems, that my home dealer Riley (who i understand to be one of the better parts source also), couldn't help me solve. Somehow, one of my angled Volvo logo trim pieces on the front grille was lost. Unclear if it fell off while driving or someone pulled it off. In my case, it's the lower one: Does anyone have any way to source this one piece of trim? The dealership... Part numbers or source for individual grille trim pieces ..read more

I have a 2020 v90 cc and currently have a 12v battery charging fault light midway thru a long 1k mile trip. First light came up said 12v charging fault stop safely and about an hr later I get a light that says 12v battery charging fault, low battery stop safely. Luckily I found a place to stop but I'm a couple hrs from a dealer. I'll not sure how the faults are triggered but I'm wondering if a bad battery could cause the fault or in this case since I got the second fault of low battery could... 12v charging fault ..read more

I am getting new tires for my new to me v90cc. I plan on getting dedicated winter tires so these tires will be used spring thru fall, don’t expect them to see much snow if at all. I drive a 2hr one way highway commute about once a week. The speed limit on the highway is 70 so I’m cruising around 80-85 most of the time. I value quietness and comfort but also want to be able to drive fast confidently. Good rain performance would be cool too I did some research and it seems like grand... v90cc tire recommendations ..read more
