Hi all! Chasing a low vacuum issue and wanted to see if anyone could guide me in the right direction. When I check vacuum directly at the vacuum pump with everything disconnected it reads a steady -20. When I connect the smaller of two hoses and check from the brake booster port on the vacuum pump I get a steady -20 as well. When I connect the brake booster line and check vacuum from the smaller port on the pump I get a crazy unsteady jumping reading from +20 to -20. Brakes are working... Some words of wisdom for anyone lucky enough to find their Cayenne (or really any VW group SUV) starts flashing the parking lights when attempting to lock and arm the alarm, learned the hard way. The videos make it seem like it is a quick and easy job to replace the module. Three things I love about my 2018 CS - 1) it has a button for every function with no need to look at them once memorized 2) the 14 way seats are high quality and adequately adjustable for most people 3) sport mode, on comfort ride, with low level is a great driving mode for city commuting I also love the simple lines, tow capacity, and overall design. Hi, Immediately after changing my battery i got engine code p1476. Reset it and it came back. This code is "leak diagnostic pump inadequate vacuu.m" I replaced my fuel cap and also replaced my fuel detection pump in the right rear wheel well and unfortunately the code came back. Does anyone have any other insight for me? I don't think this is an evap leak because its not throwing a p045- code, just p1476 code. Maybe the charcoal cannister? Would love any input. I drove my 2017 base Cayenne yesterday and noticed the windows wouldn't power down, the discovered nothing worked, door locking, mirror function, hatch release, all dead. I also couldn't lock the car from the door handle buttons. I shut it off several times and restarted but nothing changed. Coming home I looked up the fuse for those functions and pulled it out.
