I started to make a lot of money daytrading pretty quickly, my friends and fam probably think im drugdealing. But if I tell them trading it always leads to people looking for handouts or investment advice. What is something I can actually say? Or should I just say i got lucky with an investment and leave it at that submitted by /u/-PSD [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Obviously I understand I can’t learn day trading in a week and one source I know it takes years of failure until you reach success. I’m kind of tired with crypto trading as it’s too volatile and want to get into day trading. If anybody can let me know any good mentors or YouTubers can that can give me a good start of strategies, advice etc please let me know. As well as who helped you in your journey because I know there is Tj and others I watched there videos however I dident gain much insight. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated thanks! submitted by /u/Additional_De ..read more

By swing trading, I mean taking a trade and holding it for anywhere between 3 to 30 days. By intraday trader we mean someone who cuts his trade before the day's session ends, but for this post's sake let's say this type of trader holds a trade for anywhere between 3 minutes to 6/8 hours at max. What are the advantages and disadvantages that these two type of traders have over each other? As per me, a swing trader has two big advantages over day traders: More stable price action and better trades / accuracy. Cost efficiency. A swing trader will not leak a lot of money in the form of trade c ..read more

These are the stocks on my watchlist (5/17)

Hi! I am an ex-prop trader that trades equities. This is a daily watchlist for trading. I might trade all of the stocks on here, or none of them, on any given day. I might trade stocks that don't appear on here! I hold no positions in any stocks long-term but Amazon/Mag7/general broad market indices. (unless otherwise noted in these tickers). If you’re on old reddit, click “show images” at the top to see all the charts quickly. I usually make these watchlists premarket, (or from 6:30 to 7 as time permits), but can be delayed if I'm trading the open. These aren't mean to be taken as gospel ..read more

So I'm 40 years old and have never made enough to set anything aside for retirement. I average around 60-80 hours per week of work, which I don't think is going to be sustainable much longer honestly. I would like to learn dayteading as a way to kickstart my retirement fund and try to get caught up to where I should be at my age. I have $100 on moomoo but didn't want to start playing with that until I had a solid plan, any ideas where I should start? I was thinking of paper trading for a bit, but wish I could lower the starting funds on a paper trading account to a more realistic amount (It s ..read more
