Looking at this smoker on FB, 1/4" cooking chamber, 3/8" metal firebox, stack looks decent and is surely an upgrade over my current OKJ setup. Just wanted to share to see if anything stood out or what to look for. The builder of this smoker also posts on FB selling homemade smokers and I immediately recognized this. More of a novelty score here. Seldom mentioned but great firewood and rarely grows big enough to be worthwhile to hoard in quantity. Part of my SBH score from last weekend and I thought worthy of its own thread. Went back yesterday. Homeowner had sectioned it up and dragged into a pile of limbs. My grandfather gave me a couple heads about two years ago. An adze and a froe. He told me they were his grandfather's, a man named Henry, which is awesome because that's my son's name. I rehandled them from Welcome to House Handle Company and to disappoint I have not used them for intended purposes.
