Just been watching the news about raw spillage from the water companies. That it won't be re- Corrected till 2050 nearly another 30 years. Just shown you raw spillage going into the sea around the east coast early morning when us guys wake up. The guy speaking said that the spillage that they've gone through. Has been holding alot of medication. And some sea specimens have been found with cocaine in their systems. A don't get how that can be. ? Many with chemicals from anti depressants. f***ing crazy how the water works can get away with this.  ..read more

With the wife taking our 2 daughters to Manchester for the weekend, it was time to get some perching done... I've a list as long as my arm to do at our place, but I wasn't in the mood this weekend..lol We're starting to see a few decent perch come out of the ponds we use for the THL comp, so Saturday I had a session on my own, chopped worm and maggot and fished worm over the top.. It was busy enough with a few decent crucians, a fair few bream and a carp that gave me the run around on lightish gear... managed 2 perch 1 around a pound the other just over 2lb..Nice day though..   Arrange ..read more

Well just been reading that last year around Yorkshire & north east over 30 people were caught without a rod licence. The environment officers turning up at these private syndicate lakes & puddles. . A thought with it being private & not owned by the river or canal trust or local councils. They wouldn't be able to do them for it with it being private. ?  ..read more

Out with Borr and SeanC off here for a day yesterday, fished on speci lake at rhe THL comp venue.. target perch.. Chopped worm, maggot, caster and prawns.. I fished match style, Sean set up "proper perch" gear and Joe had a go at drop shotting..it was a bit too coloured for the drop shotting to work, but we had a decent day on baits, Sean had a couple of decent carp over 10lb, I lost a few (f***ing things! Lol).. but had a good few bream, a couple of nice crucians and a half decent tench...plus one cracking roach around 1.5lb... the perch didn't come until it was pretty much dark.. Sean had a ..read more
