Have any of you installed your Terrova 55# using the 8 gauge wire that came on your boat or did you go with upgrading to 6 gauge like what is recommended. A tech at BPS told me that if they were installing it that they would not change to 6 gauge. Just wondering what would happen if anything ..read more

What is your opinion? Do you think it is good for the sport of bass fishing?
In my opinion it is fascinating technology and can be fun to use. With that said I believe that the soul of bass fishing has been largely removed with it. All of the analysis of the water, the weather, the structure, is basically gone
Maybe I am just an old codger who is a relic but it is more like a a video game, in my opinion, than it is skill.

WRD has stocked walleye in Nottely the past two years in an effort to restore this native fishery, and while the numbers of walleye aren’t off the charts, it’s exciting to see this species return to its native waters of the Tennessee valley.

Stocking Report (report courtesy of Trout Stocking Coordinator, John Lee Thomson) — The glory days of fishing for stocked trout are upon us in North Georgia. Stocking trucks are rolling out of the hatcheries daily and some trout over 14 inches are regularly being stocked. These larger trout are mixed into loads headed to our largest stocked trout streams. Additionally, brown and brook trout have been added to some of our traditional loads of rainbows and completing a trout...

I received a Facebook message from a friend that I've known for around 25 years now. She told me that one of her best friends father was in his last days on this earth and had one last dying request. He wanted to goto the lake and catch some fish one last time.
They contacted me wanting to book a guided trip for him. After hearing the circumstances, there was no way I was going to charge them anything. I just wanted to do the best I could to put him on some fish.
They met me at Clarks...
