Have any 2024 RDX owners experienced a sudden explosion of the front/forward glass in the retractable sun roof? While existing a highway at approximately 55/60 mph, suddenly the front sunroof glass shatters/explodes. After telling me another 2024 RDX had the exact same issue the month before and since Acura denied that warranty claim, I'm responsible for the repair. The dealership was not helpful. Apparently, it is easy for car thieves to capture the signals from your remote starter key fob just by walking past your front door with the currently available technology.. The most recent security trend in other cars appears to be the installation of a remotely controlled (Bluetooth) fuel pump relay to cut off the fuel supply but still allow the OEM security system to function. My 2008 RDX, which has been lovely, and my favorite car ever is suffering from a slowly failing turbo. I had been noticing some “glitches” in the shifting over the last 5-6,000 miles and thought my transmission was slipping. Then just recently it started burning a qt. of oil every 500 miles. 2017 Acura RDX, no problems until about a month ago. I was in park, it acted like it was going to stall but did not. However, the dash lost power, the VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST message flashed for a moment on the screen then was gone. I turned the steering wheel (still in park) and every time I turned it, the dash would lose power, same message would flash.
