Anyone else think it's wild to own a sports car as a 30 something?

I know $60K is too high, hoping I can get them to $53K. That seem about fair?

Obviously the backbox/muffler options make a huge difference. Not just manufacturers, but materials (stainless/inconel/titanium). But i've read some state that OAP don't change the sound, other than volume. Does it make sense to consider material or manufacturer? Or is it just about price and fitment? For example, will $4k JCR over axle pipes provide any benefit over $1.6k Flat 6 Motorsport ones?

What wins out in your opinion? The manual experience in a 718 or the engine/PDK experience of a 981?

The sound in the clip doesn't do it justice unfortunately.

Finally got the car delivered and in the garage last week. (Pic for fun) I was thinking I should do new brake pads because I’m nervous about ruining the rotors but am having trouble finding anything besides Porsche OEM which are about $1,000 for front and rear. Anyone know of aftermarket pads that are a little more budget friendly?
