There are rumors popping up that he and the Steelers are talking. I get the recent and lengthy injury history, but he's still only 31 and likely has more talent than any receiver available. If the team can clear him medically (a big if), I would really like this signing ..read more

Wants a new contract. Stick to your guns, Omar, Cam is 35 and coming off of an injury. I wouldn't kick ANY money down the road until after the season, depending on how they do. If they fall flat, this shyte is hopefully getting blown up, and Cam will be a casualty of that. https://steelersdepot.com/2024/05/re...nts-extension ..read more

when he came to the Bears, wouldn't take advice from the vet QBs (Foles and Dalton). Reportedly. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/s...te-per-report/ Could be a bunch of B.S., but if it's not, this is concerning -- the young QB who won't take instruction is typically not gonna go far in the NFL ..read more

Sacks are at a 25 year high in the NFL. Why? There was a study done (can't find it now) that said sack rates are QB dependent and tend to remain consistent regardless of the OL the quarterback plays behind. The sack rate was 6.88% in 2001, and it never finished above that mark until potentially this season. Things hit an all-time low in 2016 at 5.76%, which is a little odd since that was the season after Peyton Manning (3.13% sack rate is lowest in NFL history) retired in Denver. But even with the rise of mobile quarterbacks in recent years such as Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Fiel ..read more

Steelers New UDFA Running Back Daijun Edwards Turning Heads At Rookie Mini Camp Story by Anthony G. Halkias II, Steeler Nation ? ? Joshua L. Jones / USA TODAY NETWORK The Pittsburgh Steelers welcomed a small, but promising undrafted free agent class this year. Despite its size, this group of signings is already making waves at rookie mini-camp. Among these undrafted free agents is Georgia's running back Daijun Edwards. Standing at 5' 10" and weighing 207 pounds, Edwards went undrafted due to concerns about his size potentially limiting his role as an every-down back in the NFL. However, th ..read more
