We have a GSD26 and a R599 connected to. We also have a B744 which is not used. I've tried to connect the brown/shield and white wire of the B744 (correspond to the temperature sensor) to the GSD26, but impossible to read the temperature on the display. Any idea why ? I think the T sensor is functional, it delivers 50 mV at 16-17 °C. Thanks in advance for help ..read more

We have a Raymarine xcdr CPT-S installed, but we do not use it (our main depthfinder is a GSD 26 with a R599 but of course without temperature). The CPT-S xdcr has a temperature sensor, and i would like to read the temperature. Seems that the use of a Element or Axiom is mandatory, but i would like to know if there is any smart solution to read the measurement without the installation of an additional display. Thx for advice. Dom ..read more

Currently have 2 8D Duracell commercial batteries wired in parallel, to the switch to supply both start and house. I have the space and was thinking of keeping the 2 8Ds, dedicating them to the house, adding a single dedicated start with the Blue seas "add a battery " switch and charging relay/ isolater. Thoughts? Thanks ..read more

Wiring multiple gauges question

I am installing new gauges: tach, temp, oil pressure, voltmeter, etc, etc. The old gauges are long in the tooth, and some are failing. The original gauge wiring behind the panel is hard to work with in general, and I need to change it. The old gauges use spade connectors, and the new gauges use a harness that plugs into each gauge directly. Can I use terminal blocks to hook up the switched power (and ground) to the 5 separate gauges? The current set up has multiple wires in each spade... Read more ..read more

Don't have to spend hours downloading all the initial data and synchronizing your phone to the MFD to get while in shitty cell areas... Read more ..read more
