I am a fiber craft person working in the crochet/felting/freeform style and including mixed media and freeform in my designs. Took up crocheting when I was 17 and never put the hook down. Never one to follow patterns after learning the basics, I have spent a lifetime exploring thread, yarn, and fibers that could be wrapped around my hooks.

I don’t think I gave this enough love in my orb- it photos. This was stepping up in adding a different way to ensure that the orb had a place to sit freely. When it did it became more avocado/cactus like. I appreciate the road this one took me down. A nod to #Jennyking for the yarn so many years ago.

Well had to say goodbye to the very nice show at the 2nd Floor Gallery in Churubusco.

Trying to get back into designing. I had caught the flu then we decided to sell a car and then Easter so now that that’s settled (for the most part) I can get back to work. I have 4 more spheres ready for felting, 1 burlap piece ready for felting and stated a new piece in the works. Now to set aside time to machine felting those pieces. Well, last week I caught the flu and it was more than I expected. It lasted a week and even though I did not have congestion, lost appetite I did nave terrible chills the whole time. My fever reach 104.6 once. As quickly as it came a week later it was gone. So I am back to creating and am close to start felting ..read more
