Hello. I searched but just can't seem to find the answer. I have a pair of 02 grizzys. One will not start. It can turn over 95% of a rotation but then gets hung up. I can get it past that point with a very hard hand pull. I know they are tough to hand pull (I pulled both my quads to compare, and the one in question has a distinct difference). I started by adjusting the valves. No change. I researched more and decided it was the decompression pin on the cam. I took the top cover off... 02 grizzly 660 compression release ..read more

On a weekend ride my starter solenoid relay started just clicking, no biggie I just used the recoil pull start.... half way through the weekend the pull rope on the recoil broke! Now I'm bypassing with a screwdriver no problem. Get home and it's starting to rain so I went to bypass with screwdriver to put her in the barn started fine but it was cold and I didn't choke so it sputtered out. Went to bypass again and I heard a pop, nothing now at all when I turn the key on. I've checked all the... Turn the key and nothing comes on ..read more

Front Differential good/bad?

Hi, I have a 2003 Grizzly 660. While checking the front pads I noticed that the left wheel would turn smoothly, but the right wheel would turn with a consistent catch. I first thought it was a wheel bearing going bad. I removed the hub and checked the bearing. It was good. With the hub removed, I turned the axle, the catch was still there. The front prop shaft doesn't move while I am turning the axle. The differential is not locked into 4wd. So I am thinking that is ok. I pulled out the... Front Differential good/bad ..read more
