Hello from Chicago !! I've been in the market for a CPO 991.2 4S for a month now and based on my interaction with a couple of dealers it seems like my budget is off by about $10k. My budget is $100k but the cars I end up liking are about $110k. And so far the dealers have shown ZERO desire to bring the price down at all. I offered $102k for a $107k listing and did not even receive a counter. My question is this - given that the 992 models are going to hit the market in 2-3 months(let me know if this is wrong) am I better off just waiting for a bit. I found this company called Total Auto Protect through my dealership that offered me an extended warranty plan for my 2012 Porsche 911 has anyone has any experience with them. So far I've found great reviews on Top 10 Auto Warranty Companies. It seems they have been around since around 2004 and have excellent reviews. My 2012 Porsche CPO Warranty expired a few years after I bought it. I have had to repair it on my own the last few times and don't want to pay out of pocket for these types of repairs. This is my 4th 911 I have had. From day 2 my brakes Squeak all the time. The dealer says this is their biggest complaint. If you go online Porsche its because their brakes are so good bla bla bla.
