Joseph Ryan immediately caught our attention when we noticed that in his registration form, under the interesting stories’ section, he wrote: “I run with arthritis and was told I’d never be able to do a run like this!” It sparked our interest and we reached out to him to get more details and with the hopes of sharing his inspiring story to our running community. “Be a Runner, be a Fundraiser” with New Life Community Services

We believe in sport as a means to feel good and do good. In 2020, New Life Community Services joined us as the Official Charity Partner of Run as One Singapore with the goal of raising S$150,000 through an online fundraising campaign. We are extremely happy to share that, to date, they have raised over S$156,000! Furthermore, we also asked our Run As One Singapore participants to donate and the results were incredible. 127 participants chose to contribute, and a total of $2,715 was raised. The four-day Run as One Singapore 2022 has come to an end.  We have witnessed personal breakthroughs, family bonding, team camaraderie and lots of beautiful sunsets. And that’s a wrap! Across 10 days of racing in the 2021 Run As One Singapore we saw plenty of smiling runners, personal achievements, and some amazing sunsets. It’s been great to see runners back racing around Marina Bay, thank you for supporting this event and showing so much positivity over the recent months. Dear Athletes, In October 2020, during the previous phase 2, we created Run As One Singapore, an innovative running event that offers the running community a racing opportunity that complies with the government safe distancing regulations. The 2020 edition of Run As One Singapore was a resounding success. However, the circumstances of the current phase 2 are different and have led the relevant authorities to conclude last night that the Run As One Singapore should be postponed this time.
