Nice to see Pat Mikesch having success in his first season in Toledo. I remember watching him play at Michigan Tech when I was a kid. Was that in about the same time as Scott and O'Connor played? Statistics: Posted by DelHowLich — Sat May 18, 2024 3:16 am ..read more

“People don’t want to say it, but part of playoffs is trying to hurt every player on the other team,” Marchand acknowledged. “The more guys you take out, the more advantage your team has. And people don’t say that, but that’s just a fact of the game. Every time you step on the ice, someone’s trying to hurt someone. That’s just how it goes in playoffs. And that’s part of the benefit of having a physical group, and that’s why you see teams go the distance with big D corps and physical teams, and it’s why you rare ..read more

It's no joke that I like Mrazek, or Athanasiou or Mursak or Pullkinen. But I joke about how ridiculous it is. That said, Mrazek wins that series. I don't understand why Carolina though Freddie Andersen was the answer. I wonder if its time to move on from Rod Brindamour. Statistics: Posted by Pop Zeus — Sat May 18, 2024 2:20 am ..read more

2020 first rounder Askarov started the first 2 games for Milwaukee of the first round against Texas and lost them both allowing 8 goals so they have started Grosenick since who won 3 straight to defeat Texas in a best of 5 before facing the Griffs. Askarov had more starts and better numbers in the regular seasoon If you mean between Cossa & Askarov, they both had pretty similar numbers but it was Askarov's 2nd full season in the AHL. Cossa: 40GP 22W 2.41 .913 Askarov: 44GP 30W 2.39 .911 Wallstedt: 45Gp 22W 2.70 .910 I was speaking of Grosenick. Askarov: 44GP 30W 2.39 .911 Grosenick ..read more
