Before you read this, please be sure you are sitting down. What you are about to learn is so shocking that you might need some time to recover. Researchers from UNLV and the University of New Mexico (UNM) have found that sports bettors are more likely to binge drink than non-gamblers or those who partake in different types of gambling. I know it’s unbelievable, but researchers surveyed more than 4,000 people and…there you have it. The trend held the same whether or not the sports bettor was male or female. It is his third career PokerGO Tour (PGT) title and 38th career cash. Lin now has over $11 million in lifetime live tournament earnings and $5.3 million on the Tour. Going into Monday’s action, Lin wasn’t in great shape, holding one of the smaller stacks of the 15 ..read more

Poker News Daily

In what seems like just an awful, awful idea and just a cynical money grab, Dave & Buster’s has announced that it will soon offer customers the ability to place bets on games. The restaurant-arcade giant will seemingly get around gambling laws because the wagers will be on “skill” games, not games of chance. Dave & Buster’s will not be the house or operate the gambling in any way. “Gamification” software company Lucra will provide the betting technology, which will be accessed through the D&B app. The idea is to allow people – adults 18 and over – to bet a few bucks with their frie ..read more

All signs point to yes? With the end of the 2024 U. S. Poker Open last week, the 2024 PokerGO Tour season seemed to be at a good point to examine the standings.
