  Starting this December, segments of Interstate 70 such as Loveland Basin (pictured above) will require a toll to drive through during peak times.   Colorado’s ski resorts have struggled to handle the influx of traffic and crowds on weekends and holidays over the past few seasons.   Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin will require paid parking reservations on weekends, holidays, and other peak days next season.   For the 2024-25 season, Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin will become the latest resort to adopt a paid parking reservation policy during peak times, according to the resort.   The Creekside Express is Schweitzer’s fifth high-speed lift and the first new lift installation since 2019.   For the 2023-24 season, Idaho’s Schweitzer performed a major upgrade to its sole beginner area. Earlier today, Alterra released the Ikon Pass product suite for the 2024-25 season. Adults can purchase a full Ikon Pass, which comes with unlimited access to 17 resorts and no holiday blackout dates, for $1,159—an increase of 8% from last year.
