The Pacers improved to 2-0 with a 125-113 win over the Cavs on Saturday night. Aaron Nesmith led the Pacers with 26 points, while Tyrese Haliburton had 21 points, 13 assists, and 8 rebounds.
The Pacers were hot from three-point range, hitting 16 of 37 attempts. They also outrebounded the Cavs 52-40.
The Cavs were led by Darius Garland, who had 25 points and 8 assists. But they were without Donovan Mitchell, who is nursing a groin injury.
The Pacers' defense was the key to their victory. They held the Cavs to 42.2% shooting from the field and 31.3% shooting from three-point range.
