I drive an EV (2015 Nissan Leaf) in the Atlanta area. These are great vehicles for urban driving in that maintenance and electric charging are low. However, range must be taken into effect when accepting rides. For this reason I generally only do 3 or 4 local trips before going home to recharge. airport again. It's simply not worth it anymore. I'm in Kennesaw at the moment and I just got an airport request for $22 and change. It's a 40 mile trip. The only incentive now to go to the airport is the prospect of getting a rematch, which brings up another beef I have at the moment with Uber.
