Just in the process of converting a old LI3 light switch into a Indian GP indicator type switch . Can anyone tell me what the differences in wiring are or better still have drawing/diagram of a switch? Many thanks Paul Statistics: Posted by scooterslag — Thu Apr 25, 2024 12:47 pm ..read more

Ok thanks as long they are a bit quieter I might have to get one as there not much out there if you want a clubman without the end can and a decent sized tail pipe. Have you looked at the SIP clubman ? Statistics: Posted by Toddy — Thu Apr 04, 2024 5:32 pm ..read more

The ST is straight through no baffle hence the end can don’t know about performance but they are only a little quieter Statistics: Posted by Toddy — Tue Apr 02, 2024 8:32 pm ..read more

I’m currently running the ST version but thinking of changing this for the standard one, but is there much difference in noise between the two as wanting a more quieter exhaust and i think the performance between the two are marginal. Here’s photos of the amount of play before the kick engages, and the current adjustment of the ramp. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xrmbla ... p=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/15Xi3kd ... p=drivesdk Statistics: Posted by kurtminus — Sun Mar 31, 2024 11:45 pm ..read more

Hi All. My 65’ Li150 doesn’t always start with the kick when cold. It always starts with a bump start down a hill, and I can always kick start it when it’s already warm. Someone suggested I check the play on the kick before it engages. Sure enough it has quite a bit of play before it engages. So I pulled the cover to check the ramp adjustment. I adjusted the ramp just like the instructions but it still has a fair amount of play. Does this seem normal? Statistics: Posted by kurtminus — Sun Mar 31, 2024 11:41 pm ..read more

Thanks for reply. Yes locked solid, i'd just stopped at a roundabout when engine died so had clutch in, left her for 30 -40 mins when it happened to see if it released before calling recovery. I run two stroke oil into plug hole & left after getting home, all on floor out of leaking u-bend, check nuts every few weeks as used often but these things happen. I've taken crank out, got a truing jig so will check & putting a new drive side bearing in although 'appears' ok play appears to be from that side. Couldn't remember if any side to side play should be there but i drew the crank in ..read more

Had a heat seize - u-bend nut come loose, air leak. piston locked solid but got cylinder off easy enough (yes piston no longer any use) but on checking crank (still in place) some slight side to side movement, flywheel seems ok although it had rubbed up against the cowling however one of the 3 cork buffers glued to the head cowling had come away & was in the flywheel cowling when i removed the cowling so do not know it that has played a part in the flywheel against cowling rubbing. I can't remember if the crank should have much if any 'side to side play', any suggestions - seisure causin ..read more
