Hey all, I am a new SotM enthusiast. I want to work my way through all the variant challenges in the video game, but the guides I’m finding list them in alphabetical or card-type order. I’d really love an order that puts them in chronological order, either for the story, or for ease of unlocking order. Has anyone come up with one of these? Or have any suggestions?! Last night I opened the SotM app (iPad) for the first time in a few weeks, asked for a random setup, and was surprised to have a couple of Earth-Prime variants show up in my random lineup, even though I hadn’t unlocked them. Hmmm… Oddly, when I open the SoEP app, none of the variants are unlocked there (even though I’m pretty sure I unlocked one or two of them; maybe by playing in the SotM app?). In my opinion, this game is… Fine. The heroes are fun. The villains are challenging. The environments are creative. But there’s something… Missing. Maybe it’s the Great Value justice league. Maybe the card art. Maybe the variants (Captain Thunder with a mask, a male version of a female version of Batman, and the hideous art on One with Freedom Dr. Metropolis all come to mind). But no. I think it’s the presentation. The graphic design? Boring. The music? Cliche ( Except for Argo’s theme, which is great). But most of all: This is a super hero universe, and not a comic book one. Omega invades the omniverse, seeking to control the Final Wasteland while laying waste to Captain Thunder, Freedom Five Legacy, Captain Cosmic, Benchmark, and Luminary. Omega will be wary of invading again with this kind of resistance. Omega initially contacted Luminary to further his ambitions and launch a surprise attack, but suffered not one, but two Triple Crosses which severely depleted his forces. The extra-dimensional dictator took to personally lead the offensive afterward only to be faced down by Legacy who stood toe to toe with Omega and shrugged off his mightiest blows. Diabolical deals abound in the week’s gothic game. Hades tries his luck against Lifeline- Blood Mage, Dark Watch Harpy and Siren at the Court of Blood. That … was close. Bringing this one in late, but since it was a nice easy match, there really wasn’t much to say! Baron Blade vs. Completionist Guise, Legacy, Bunker and Wraith in Insula Primalis. Lots of fun to have with Completionist Guise, but I find it fairly easy to use Super Scientist Tachyon and then switch over to her Freedom Five version.
