2016 XC60 Special Edition T5, manual said, 4-cylinder engines only: Volvo oil VCC RBS0-2AE/SAE 0W20 is recommended for extreme driving conditions.This oil must never be used in 5- or 6-cylinder engines. Hello, I have a Volvo XC60 2018. The last few days the warning sign “engine, check oil pressure and stop the car”. When removing the oil cap it’s all smudgy and clumpy. We haven’t had it serviced in a few years (I know that’s bad). The car says the oil level is full as I guess it’s counting the clogged bit at the top so the sensor believes it’s full. See imagine. A warning light popped up on my wife's 2018 XC60 t5 R-Design that stated the Parking Brake Temporarily Unavailable. I happened to have a mechanic friend that has an Autel MK808 scanner who ran a scan and various codes came up (see attached picture) pointing towards some problems. I guess my question is multi-part: 1) is anyone familiar with these scanners and how accurate are they? 2) if accurate it appears that the motor has failed, along with possibly the caliper piston actuator? 2024 XC60, connected to my iPhone using Bluetooth. It normally plays music well. But every time after I place a phone call, the music stopped playing. The music won’t resume no matter what I do, like disconnect and reconnect. Restarting the car can fix this problem, but it’s very annoying while driving. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Greetings, About a month ago my car died without any prior warning while driving on the freeway. No CEL or anything, the gas pedal just stopped working. It was as if it had just suddenly ran out of gas. Had it towed to my mechanic where they diagnosed a problem with the fuel pump. Had that replaced at great expense (wonderful design Volvo!), drove off thinking that was behind me. A week later, same thing happened again. Hello: I am looking XC60 Recharge (likely 2024 model. but may considered used). I've never owned a Volvo, always had Toyota and Lexus. I test drove it today and love the pick up and style.
