  There is not much progress going on at the future site of The Joker The biggest thing that's happened so far is the complete removal of all concrete and other components left over from the former Dragon's Wing sky coaster Some preliminary ground work has started, and the ride envelope is being cleared of all trees There are marker flags all over the site Here you can see some of the side of the hill These things can come together very quickly, so once they have footers and the base poured, it can pop up basically in a few days.  It will be interesting to see when it ..read more

  It is Easter weekend, so that means it is time for our annual trip to Dollywood I think it safe to say that we LOVE this park While waiting for rope drop we noticed that Whistle Punk Chaser was already open AND there was no line, so we hopped on it for the first ride of the day DropLine was also open with no line, so it was next From there we headed up to Big Bear Mountain While I got my first rides on this coaster last summer, this was the first time for most of our crew We all agree that this is the best ride in the park now The ride is just fun.  Not too intense ..read more
