Hey friends! Coming in with a quick blog post to organize my favorite skincare and provide links for you all! Truthfully, I think I've finally achieved the best skin of my entire life, and I thought I'd spread the details on the recipe! I've focused a lot on exfoliation and hydration with different toners and techniques this past year, and as I head into 2024, I finally feel like I've unlocked my skin! My skin has not always been amazing. First of all, having freckles wasn't exactly trendy as a kid, and I often felt self-conscious when adults teased me about them, saying I "had something on m ..read more

Our Favourite Films for Movie Night

Hello! I hope you are doing well dearest Reader. We are still in the thick of things here at our house, so I wanted to do an easier blog post. This is a list of films that both my husband AND myself have enjoyed. I felt like this genre is sometimes difficult to achieve when both parties in a marriage have different tastes in movies. I'm a strong believer in intentional film viewing, meaning I won't spend time watching just ANYTHING on a streaming service. We only sit down to watch a movie if we've researched the plot and audience reviews. This prevents us from wasting an evening, and leaves us ..read more

Our Life Lately...

Hello lovely Reader, I've never done this before, but I need to update on our life and I quite actually do not have the mental or physical stamina to write a coherent explanation of what has been happening. I did however try to keep our family over on Instagram informed in semi-real time, so I've decided to just post screenshots of what I explained over there. We have surgery for Grant tomorrow and I had another night of insomnia, only catching five hours of broken sleep. I think the stress is taking a toll at this point... I just tried to type up a "Reader's Digest Version" of everything but ..read more

Hello dears! Today's recipe from my early summer vlog comes from an unknown cookbook from one of my best friends. I obviously did not have them turn out the way they are in the book, but they were delicious nonetheless! I hope you get to try it and enjoy warm soft pretzels with your family this Summer! xoxo, Cait ..read more

Careers for Aspiring Homemakers

Hello, Dearest dreamers! Do you know what is one of the most common questions I find in my email? "What kind of career or job should I pursue before I become a homemaker?" This is a fantastic question and I'm happy that a lot of us have considered it! Most of us will not go straight from high school to homemaker, (nor do I think that is a good idea in general,) and will therefore need to have some sort of income in the meantime. We want to be productive members of society, use our time for something valuable, and hopefully enter marriage with as little debt as possible! It's also a valuable qu ..read more

Keeping a Peaceful Home

Hello beautiful! I hope you are in a cozy corner with a tea or a coffee, or perhaps scrolling through this on a quiet commute. I always get dreamy about train commutes to a job in the city, though I imagine it's not as whimsical as I imagine in my head. Regardless, I wish you all the best on your journey LOL! So today I wanted to write about keeping a peaceful home as a wife and mother. This concept came to me today on my bike ride with my babies. I was singing out loud to a random angsty emo song from my adolescence and the boys were in the bike trailer pointing out the ducks and boats we wer ..read more

My 28th Birthday! <3

Hello my dears! I have officially completed 28 years on this beautiful earth. Something about 28 has caused me to feel a little nostalgic, realizing it's been ten years since I turned 18. A decade of adulthood and so much has changed: immigrating to the US, completing my degree, buying a house, becoming a housewife, finding success on YouTube, having two babies in a row... it's been a wonderful journey. I've always looked forward to being 28 because 28 has seemed like a posh age to be. Like, you're mature because your brain is finished developing and you're gearing up for 30, but you're also y ..read more

Hey y'all! Just wanted to post my new vlog on here because I'm trying to be better with promotion this year LOL. The vlog is just a chill Wintertime vlog, thrifting, walking and hanging out with my kids, chatting about my thoughts on my style lately, and some footage from time with friends. I know a lot of people wanted to see how I do a solo evening routine with the boys, so I added that in this vlog as well! Enjoy! https://youtu.be/O4IdxrtIdik ..read more

Notes on Enduring Longlasting Grief

Hello dearest reader :) Today I wanted to write a small note about grief. It's March, and if you've been a longtime reader, you know that March is a difficult time for me as it is the anniversary of when a very difficult time happened in my life. I usually reshare a post I wrote a few years ago, but this year my thoughts have continued to evolve and develop, so I think it's time for a fresh perspective. So grief. Grief is not limited to the death of a loved-one, as I may have naively thought once upon a time in a more inexperienced stage of my life. Betrayal, divorce, estrangement, death, illn ..read more

Things Bringing A Bit of Happiness Lately...

Hey! So after a week and a half of dealing with congestion headaches, I finally decided I just need to push through to get some content out to you all. Having a pounding headache seems to keep me back from any remote level of creativity or critical thinking, so I'm unfortunately doing a rather low-level blog topic, but I've convinced myself it's better than nothing. Back when I was a teen I was a connoisseur of Seventeen Magazine and Teen Vogue, and it was common to have an "edit" of the editor or an author's favorite things, collecting random beauty products, activities, and pastimes into a s ..read more
