Check out the two links in regard to EGR delete cable. To let you know I'm still running my 2012 XLT 3.2 untouched, I only recently had the inlet manifold cleaned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZC5EkMI1ig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cMbxf2rn4o Statistics: Posted by Peter — Thu Sep 19, 2024 12:03 am ..read more

PX Ranger 2011+ • EGR bypass questions/fix - 2019 BT50

Hi Team I have a 2019 BT50 3.2L which we recently purchased. I have been reading up on the EGR issues, especially the cooler failure which concerns me. I have just ordered an EGR delete module cable which will close the EGR valve permanently, so exhaust gases do not get recirculated back through the intake. But this does not help if the cooler fails, I know there are blanking plates that can be fitted either side of the cooler but looking at the space available this look like a pig of a job ;-( My thoughts are to install a 15mm ID radiator hose between the heater outlet located on the firewall ..read more

Hi All, Any chance to mount a light bar in the front of a next gen Raptor if I don’t want a nudge/bull bar I am a bit late, but I have seen a few light bars set up behind the grid. Neat installations. Statistics: Posted by Brukutu — Tue Sep 17, 2024 6:28 pm ..read more

Electrical Stuff • Load bin lights - 2024 ranger.

Although I like the loadbin lights I feel they are lacking. I would like to add led strips and tap into the same circuit (puddle light / ambient light). How much power can I pull from the original wiring of the rear load bin lights? Is 10-15 Wats for some leds going to cause an issue? Should I rather use to trigger a relay with always on power? (For them to work together with the ambient light). I would prefer to avoid this and power them directly, hence the question. Thank you in advance. Hi All. I have a raptor 2024 with the factory lid. I had the same issue and this post helped me a lot. I had a roll bar fitted today and in order to install the braces the roller shutter had to be temporarily removed. After reinstalling it and reconnecting it, it was in manual mode. Doing a factory instruction reset, would cause it to go dead. In order to try again, I would disconnect the roller shutter harness and reconnect. Back to manual mode. But everytime after calibration it would stop working all together. After doing battery pull (negative off for 20 seconds and back on) the rolle ..read more

Thanks UTH, Sounds like you mounted yours where I would like to mount mine, in the grill hole below the license plate. I have not had time to crawl back under the truck yet. I hope to do it sometime in the next couple days. Statistics: Posted by Rocky948 — Tue Sep 17, 2024 2:17 pm ..read more

Yes the 10 minute change is a real worry if you pick the wrong garage. I mentioned this recently at one garage and I got a blank look back. Clearly they had no idea of this. Apparently both the 2.2 and 3.2 use a vane pump rather than the normal gear pump which is self priming. Some talk on the net about vanes failing from fatigue. But I don’t know if this is just an isolated problem or something to worry about. Statistics: Posted by robshanghai — Tue Sep 17, 2024 9:29 am ..read more

Has anyone tried to mount an LED light bar in the lower grille opening of a 2015? If so how did you reinforce the bumper/grill? I was unable to locate anything in a search and unable to post a picture as the photo was too big. Thanks in advance, Rocky That's where mine is located. Fabricated some L-brackets that are drilled and bolted to the cross member behind the 'bumper'. Although mounted low and not ideal for illuminating as far as a nudge bar mount would, I find it's adequate for my purposes which is mostly getting the attention of other drivers, especially handy to flash them on the bl ..read more
