As Bala mentioned, sound like smart charge is still active with your ranger, you will need either ford or auto electrician who knows how to switch off (disable) the smart charge. The auto electrician couldn't disable the "smart" charge feature. I'll have to get the Ford tex to do it with the next service. I've been using this Torque Pro/Android Phone setup for about 3 years now. Yesterday was the first time that I saw the battery charge/discharge meter spike into the negative (20 amp discharge) and back to charge (around 3amps when I was looking at it). G'day, new to forum Just bought a 2015 PX1 Super Cab. I need some side steps and weather shields.
