I did not see a forum for module issues so I will post this here. I have a 1999 Ford ranger XL 4x4 with 3.0 engine. I know the GEM module is the problem ( windshield wipers cut out ) so I started hunting U Pull It yards and found three with my exact same number and made in the same year. I am talking about the Gem Module. Mine is an XL5T-14B205-EC made on May 1999. Two were pulled from trucks that were junked because they were wrecked. Hi everyone ive got a 2012 ranger. The other day it shut like it ran out of diesel pulled over and the starter motor was going . Switched it of and still going. Disconnected battery and stopped. Touch leads back on battery starter goes again . Anyone got any ideas whats wrong. Thanks ..read more

I have a 1992 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 that I bought in December of 1994 when I was in the Navy. I needed something that was going to get better gas mileage than the 13mpg I was getting on the highway with my 87 Olds 442. (I still miss that car, though!). Sam (my Ranger) only had 15,035 miles on her when I got her. I have been having an issue with 4wd on my 1998 Ranger XLT 4.0L. I decided I have to finally get it resolved after my son got it stuck in 4wd low yesterday. Just changed my clutch out and there is a bushing for the manual BW13-54 T-Case shift linkage, any one know where to find one and what it looks like? I dropped my linkage and it shattered the bushing. Any ideas. Thanks ..read more
