My gearbox keeps getting stuck in 1gear. The lights on the dash (P R N D S) start flashing and it gets stuck. Not necessarily the same gear all the time. Will clear sometimes and other times I have to stop and turn off the engine for a while then it’s fine again for a little while.  ..read more

  bit if of a long story   After a 300 mile trip back in May, the adblue countdown came on my 2018 3.2 ranger. Adblue was full and When scanned no codes were found   Don’t judge me but I thought an adblue delete made sense at this point. The person who did the delete struggled to upload the file through the obd port and then took the ecu off to load the map directly. Once the ecu was reinstalled the trick will start and then immediately die. The mapper said he believed it to a broken wire and left me to it. I have a 2015 Ford Ranger 2.2, I have the traction control warning light and the power train light coming on after driving on the motorway sometimes after 30mins sometimes 1hr or more. It’s been in the garage where they put it on the diagnostic machine but no error code comes up, they’ve taken it for drives to see if it comes on but they’ve not been able to get the lights to come on. Hi guys I’m new here thanks for any replies. I have a 21 plate Ranger 2l bi turbo just had its first mot it at peoples Ford Edinburgh. I bought new break pads at around 10000 miles first service as the breaks made a bit noise when I got the new break pads and drove around the noise was (as the technician said) horrendous and I needed new pads and disks at around 20k-25k miles (second service).the noise went back to how it first was and tbh I was sick of taking it in to the garage I have work to do.
