All,
Took my 24' Lariat FX4 on a short road trip this summer. When I left my truck had just a little more than 2k miles on it. When I finished it was a little over 8200 miles. I averaged 24.5 mpg for the trip. The high temp I hit was 113° in central Texas and a low of 49° in Cody, WY. I had altitudes from sea level to over 10,000ft. Average speed on the highways was 80ish. The whole trip was 39 total days and I covered quite a few states. Throughout the trip the truck performed flawlessly. I...

tried searching but not finding the answer/ do i need to remove control arms or other stuff to get the front shocks out/in ?
i see you do for 4wd but looking at the shocks with the wheel off i can't tell if it is necessary on the 2wd model... i did the 4600s for the rear thinking i should do the front as well. i can do the coil switch, but also curious if anyone else did that themselves just to confirm the 4600s for the front it is basically just get a compressor and switch them over...//...

On my '21 Lariat when I turn on the parking lights the dual filament bulbs used in the turn signals/parking light position do not light. The tail lights, side markers and DRL's come on, is this as designdd by Ford or is something a miss?
I think I read somewhere this is as designed by Ford even though a two filament is used.
TIA

3 years/80,500 miles, day before a hurricane... It died. Lol.
Went to remote start it this morning and nothing happened. I knew what I was in for at that moment. Jumped it and drove it to my Dr appointment and in the office I sent a chat message to AAA. They came to me and replaced the battery, in the rain, for $266 plus 3% for using my card. So $270 otd. Beats going to the parts store and paying $280.
The app never sent me a notification that my battery was bad/low and the battery light...

I have a 2020 Super Crew Ranger with towing package that I bought in February and we just bought a 2021 Dutchman Coleman Lantern LT 17B camper a couple of weeks ago. Overall length is 21 feet long. Dry weight is 2986# with a payload capacity of 864#. Tongue weight is 385#.
Driving it 2 hours home was a little bit unsteady and seemed to have some sway to it. It was also hard to see anything behind us. I bought towing mirrors and installed the Ford brake controller. I'm not sure on what...

Downsized to a ‘21 XLT (non FX4) last year as I put on a lot of miles for work. Originally planned on only using it for work, but it’s grown on me and I want to give it some character and keep it around for a while.
Looking for recommendations and info on making some changes and maintaining it.
Is there anything outside of standard maintenance that anyone is doing to keep these running for a long time? For my old Silverado it was an OBD plug to disable a fuel management system and cleaning...
