304 rocker arm bolts

Hey guys. I'm trying to find replacement bolts for the rocker arm/bridge on a 304. Nothing wrong with mine, I just feel as they're a torqued bolt that they should be replaced rather than refit. (Correct me if im wrong) Everywhere I look online all I see is studs, which are no good to me. They're a 5/16 unc bolt if anyone has bought a complete set somewhere before and could shed some light Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk ..read more

After 18 years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of AussieV8. AussieV8 will turn off officially on the 30th of June 2023. I first started AussieV8 18 years ago when myself and a few friends wanted to organise cruises and share updates on our builds. When we first launched this website nearly two decades ago, our vision was to create a platform that would connect people, foster knowledge sharing, and empower individuals across the V8 Community. Over the years, we have seen this evolve, and countless friendships formed through this forum. It has been an honour to be a part ..read more

Hi All and sorry for the long winded post. I have a HX sedan with a stock 202, it was a shed find and owned it for about 8 years however the trimatic let go in the driveway so we fitted a spare from a commodore. It drove back and forward ok but didn't upshift till about 70km to 2nd and wouldn't go to 3rd at all so after checking an old vacuum modulator (no change) check vacuum from manifolds good check vacuum pipe is clear and rubber ends seal ok replace kickdown solenoid disconnect kickdown switch still no joy So went off to get it rebuilt and upon refitting the trimatic its still no good ..read more

Anyone using carter black on 450hp or more engines? Getting fuel tank modified & carter black supposedly much quieter...early commodore tank that previously had holley black.Did have some fuel starvation issues probably due to pickup location & f/pump above tank in boot also had 3/8 lines Cramped for space underneath with coilovers so thinking of chopping tank up to fit carter black or maybe intake pump & new fuel lines ..read more
