The baling wrap market is a highly competitive environment, with manufacturers and suppliers consistently claiming their product has advantages over every other, whether it be through the types of materials being used, or the number of layers their product consists of.
However, just because a wrap manufacturer claims to have film consisting of a higher number of layers does not mean it’s stronger or better quality. In fact, often the reverse is true with a quality three-layer film considerably better in both cases.
Seven-layer, or even five-layer films, allow for the use of recycled plastic in ..read more

Improving efficiency, increasing outputs and reducing costs – it’s a trifecta of targets every farmer or contractor strives to reach.
The RT series of continuous mergers from ROC uses its innovative raking system to do all three, as well as protect fragile crops from damage during the harvest process.
New Zealand’s distributor of the Italian-manufactured ROC range, Webbline Agriculture Ltd, has already put an RT 1000 – with an operating width of 10m – to work here as a demonstration model, which generated significant interest right around the country.
The company has now brought in two larger ..read more

In October this year, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) which Webbline Agriculture is a key supporter, held their fourth Farmers Community Connect event. Held in the eastern regions of the Hawkes Bay, specifically in Wairoa and Waipukarau, this event was a welcome relief for farmers still reeling from the effects of Cyclone Gabrielle.
Farmers Community Connect events, are more than just relief initiatives with free coffee and burgers. These gatherings provide practical assistance and perhaps more critically aim to help foster a sense of community and resilience among farmers. Over 250 fencing repair ..read more
