Boho dresses are one of my favorite items to shop for in the fall. Style them with boots for all your favorite fall festivities like the apple orchard and pumpkin patch. And swap your boots for heels to wear your favorite boho dress for date night and Thanksgiving dinner. If you’re looking for a new boho dress to add to your closet this fall, consider a belted denim shirtdress, something with a puff sleeve, or a patterned style in paisley or plaid ..read more

Packing for a Florida vacation is the perfect opportunity to wear bright tropical colors and splashy coastal patterns like seashells, palm leaves, florals, and fish. You’ll want to check out popular resortwear brands like Lilly Pulitzer and Tommy Bahama for apparel and accessories. But don’t forget about smaller indie brands like Sundress for dresses and caftans, Soli & Sun for handbags and jewelry, and Queen of Sparkles for sequin lounge sets and swim coverups ..read more

Vagary is a size inclusive Australian fashion label sizes 6-24US. They release seasonal collections of whimsical, bohemian pieces in fun, trendy patterns and colorways. Vagary is a brand that really encapsulates the spirit of dopamine dressing. They have a few customer favorite signature styles that they release in fresh colorways with each new drop. Their Dreamer Gown is one such style. The flowy boho cut of this dress feels like something out of a SPELL or free people catalog, but unlike those brands, Vagary makes plus sizes ..read more

New England style varies from nautical chic in Rhode Island, to Ivy League preppy in Connecticut, to the outdoorsy flannels of Maine. In this post, I’m sharing a roundup of summer/fall outfits I’ve worn on vacation in New England. Think maritime stripes, sky and navy blues, collared polos and crewneck sweaters, and cozy plaid shirts and hiking boots. What you wear will depend a lot on the destination and activity (or simply the destination and activity you want to channel through your outfit ..read more

After nearly clinching a pass to the Superbowl last year, I am so excited to see what the Detroit Lions have in store for us this season! My father-in-law was a HUGE Lions fan. The game was always on in every room, with Enimen and The Beastie boys blaring on Pandora, wearing his Sanders jersey with pride. He’d fry up his signature buffalo wings and pour shots of Crown, and boom “Yea, booiii!” for every run and touchdown ..read more

Earlier this summer, we took a family roadtrip through New England with Kyle’s and my families. We’d been looking forward to the trip for over a year, so I had plenty of time to plan and pack the perfect vacation wardrobe. I’d say I went 50/50 with wearing older items from my closet and selecting new items in partnership with Ulla Popken. I work with Ulla on a monthly basis to feature current season hauls on my social channels ..read more

On our family trip to Montreal, I needed an outfit for a full day of sightseeing. Since Montreal is considered ‘The France of Canada,’ I thought I’d wear my take on the dress trend everyone is wearing on vacation in Europe: the food print dress. Lemons, lobsters, oysters, tomatoes, and oranges – ‘foodie fashion‘ is definitely having a moment this summer. This ELOQUII Shirred Bodice Ruffle Maxi Dress is my favorite take on the trend, and unlike many of the food print dresses you see around right now, it’s actually available in plus sizes ..read more

My love of Ivy City Co dresses is no secret. I’ve worked with them several times over the past couple of years. They’re known for their dreamy and feminine dresses in sizes xxs-5X (Ivy City Co Review here). I typically go for their more romantic, cottagecore styles. But their summer selection has lots of fun brights and splashy florals, and I just had to try this gorgeous Havana Dress ..read more

The Lilly Pulitzer brand exudes color, whimsy, and FUN! I’ve long been a fan of the brand and shopped their beach accessories, jewelry, and swim coverups. This Teresa Maxi Dress is my first Lilly Pulitzer dress, and I purchased it at The Printed Peach in downtown Savannah. It’s a Lilly Pulitzer boutique that also carries girly girl brands like Lele Sadoughi, Stoney Clover, and Queen of Sparkles. The Printed Peach had lots of Lilly styles in sizes XL and XXL for me to try on, which was super refreshing since my local mall store here in Michigan never seems to have anything in my size ..read more
