Think back to 2005, when you had to be in a very specific spot in front of your LCD because if you were vertically off by more than 1-2 degrees, there was pretty obvious colour shift and definite dimming. I have this computer. I went into bios and the max vram I can share is 2GB. I would love to make this 4GB. Any idea if there is a workaround for this? I wonder if another laptop would allow it. Hi noob here, I have an old Acer aspire 9300 still going strong but recently , in fact ever since I took the windows 8 offer up (64bit), I have been trying to upgrade my ram to 4Gb without success. I have just however discovered that my v1.20 bios that I updated to install a dual core turion has a known fault and I need to downgrade to v1.19 but I cannot find it anywhere. Recently I purchased 6400Mhz RAM with XMP for my MSI Titan GT77HX 13VI (13980HX and 4090) I am using almost the oldest BIOS (105) because it's the best performing one allowing 200W to the CPU whilst in D-GPU mode. 6400Mhz does NOT work but I'm assuming it's due to Titan having 4 slots. 6000Mhz boots but only...
