Which sleeping bags are best? I personally have a clear answer to this—and an option that I think will be very hard for anyone to argue against. And that’s the One Planet Winterlite -12. I would always suggest owning two sleeping bags though – one for winter and one for summer. The Winterlite bag is breathable enough that I can still get away with using it through summer. But in my opinion, I would suggesting investing in a good winter bag and then a cheaper bag for summer when the conditions aren’t so demanding.
