There are an increasing number of natural deodorants and antiperspirants. People want to avoid deodorants containing aluminum, parabens, plastics and even baking soda. Among the most recommended natural deodorant products that I have seen include: EcoRoots Natural Deodorant Cream -- Aluminum and Baking Soda Free Lume Whole Body Deodorant -- Aluminum and Baking Soda Free Native Deodorant -- Contains Baking Soda and Coconut Oil Little Seed Farm -- Contains Activated Charcoal Thai Natural Crystal Stone Statistics: Posted by admin — Sun May 05, 2024 6:41 pm ..read more

Hello, This post is to discuss my experience with off label Miradry to treat my compensatory sweating from ETS. I have had off label treatments done at multiple clinics. First treatments were done at DHHZ (https://dhhz.de/). Second treatments were done at Associated Skin Care Specialists (https://www.associatedskincare.com/). Final treatments done at Cosmebeaute (https://www.cosmebeaute.co.uk/). DHHZ - Cost: $3,000, effective for a while but back to sweating the same. ASCS - $600 per template, effective in some areas, ineffective in others. Minor discoloration and changes to skin texture. No ..read more

Hi All, I am posting this on behalf of my son who is in his mid 20's and who had intense HH of the buttocks and groin. He was very depressed and had a lot of anxiety around his HH. He regularly sweated through his pants and would leave sweat marks on things he sat on. I cannot over emphasize how much his mental health was affected by HH. He saw many doctors and it really seemed that HH isn't taken seriously as both a health and mental health issue. It was frustrating to me as his mom that there isn't more research on this condition that truly and deeply affects so many people. He tried all of ..read more

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35662070/ A healthy woman received MiraDry® treatment in the perineal, genital, and perianal regions for body odor in a cosmetic clinic. She experienced severe adverse effects after treatment, including persistent fever, sustained pain, and bleeding in the treated area. The condition deteriorated rapidly with systemic symptoms, and she died on the sixth day. Group A Streptococcus was detected in her skin in the treated areas, and in blood obtained in the hospital and during autopsy. Combined with the clinical diagnosis and autopsy findings, the woman's death wa ..read more

All I can find online is that this is a rare condition and affecting babies and children. Nothing about whether this had an adult-onset equivalent. Might it only be rare because the research has been rare? All the stuff online is rare and very old. How would I find out any specialists in the UK or people at the forefront of research (if any?) And yet the description of sweating below a certain temperature is so true for me. Somebody just has to open a door and let cold air in and I sweat terribly or if I wash my hair it is damp for ages and pouring with sweat. I would love to hear from anyon ..read more
