Escaping Fuze phones to PSTN Teams

We've been on Fuze for about 18 months now and it's been "less than stellar".  I'm thinking a migration to add the PSTN plugin to Teams might make more sense and have one less piece of SW on users desks This goes into the category of "have any of you done it".  Fuze is about $20 US per user/month and frankly so far has been service in the mediocre to normal category.  I see 3 tiers of PSTN service for Teams but don't quite know what the main difference in the bottom 2 are. I also don't know: 1. Can you transfer calls 2. What about the few analog devices that I have  (fax an ..read more

Two facilities with the same need.  We have after hours workers and when there is only one person on site we need a "press this button" for help system.  We'd prefer more than one button i.e. one at each door. "I've fallen and I can't get up".   Hey that could be me in the server room at 2 am ..read more

Windows is necessary for most daily work - if for no other reason than it is the default OS of the vast majority of businesses. And, IMHO, Windows still needs a compatible phone OS. Microsoft screwed up Windows phone by constantly changing the OS and not putting programmers first (as it had done successfully before). Nobody would argue that point. But, in order to regain its global dominance, Microsoft MUST have a phone OS compatible with the desktop - an extension of the desktop. I know about My Phone and it sucks. My Phone is just tacking Android apps onto the desktop - a move that Google i ..read more

Hello all, So, we use older Honeywell Dolphin EX99's for our warehousing and Inventory needs and they work great when connected to our LAN. The issue I'm running into deals with having the gun run through a LTE hotspot over VPN. I've configured the L2TP VPN connection and everything is working as it should including our custom written inventory software. The only thing I can't figure out is how to have the VPN connection start automatically when the software is launched. At this point I would even be fine with having a shortcut on the home screen. I've done tone of googling and so far I have f ..read more
