Spring 2024 was a busy time for Water for Life Charity. And it was all possible because of you.  Over the last several months we’ve distributed 1,287 VF100 water filters to five different countries. This means that 10,300 more individuals in the world have access to clean, safe water and the opportunities it brings. Water project highlight: Pakistan a year and a half later

In August 2022, catastrophic floods struck Pakistan. One third of the country was underwater and 33 million individuals were left trying to survive; half of these individuals were children. Already insufficient water and sanitation systems were further strained, and 5.4 million people were forced to use water from contaminated sources.  In an effort to alleviate challenges and provide safe water for drinking and sanitation, Water for Life Charity partnered with Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) to distribute VF100 water filter kits to high-risk areas. Gaza water project update: Sending aid and hope

Helping displaced Palestinians in Gaza and the surrounding region is an ongoing water project at Water for Life Charity.  This past week Water for Life Charity president and founder James Brown dropped off 381 pounds of medical supplies and water filters at the Utah Lifting Hands International warehouse. These supplies included a variety of necessities such as bandages and surgical supplies. Moving for Change: 2023 Avalaunch Gives Back 5k recap

On September 30, 147 individuals came together to move for change at our third annual co-sponsored Avalaunch Gives Back 5k & Family Fun Run event. On October 1, people across Guatemala celebrated Día del Niño, or Children’s Day. The day was celebrated with gifts, games, treats, piñatas, and dance and musical performances. At the age of ten Alexandrine Harig raised $50 for Water for Life Charity by selling hand-painted cards, and she hasn’t stopped since.  “In fifth grade I was introduced to the global water issue and I saw a path where, even as a young person, I could take small actions to bring safe water to those in need,” shares Alexandrine. A year and a half after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and one year after our fundraiser for water relief efforts, Water for Life Charity continues to provide safe drinking water for individuals and families in Ukraine.
