Hello, I own a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT with a 1.8L engine. I keep getting single code that my manifold is stuck open. I've replace the actuator and the code still came up, so removed the manifold to check to see if the flaps were stuck. They were not stuck. They open and closed smoothly when i checked. Now I'm lost for how to solve the problem. the only thing i noticed was that when i put the actuator on, once i rotate it into position, the valves were open. So my question is, if the car is off with no power (battery disconnected) and i install a new actuator, should the valves be open or close ..read more

2010 caliber se model.. whining noise when accelerating especially when the weather is warm.i am in Phoenix so we are hitting in the 90's and about to hit 100+ first noticed a while back when making a trip to LA when about 50 miles out or so from my home, the car would make a whining noise that was extremely lound.then all of a sudden the car slowed down and went into what i assume is limp mode.i was able to pull over and let the car cool off a few times until i got off i10..temp does seem to go a little higher than "normal" from what i remember. it happened again yesterday driving around 35 ..read more

Greetings! I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber with the auto CVT. The car turns on, but does not run when placed into Drive. The RPM will go up, and the car does not move much, if at all, during this time. Vehicle was running fine until suddenly it would no longer move once started up at a parking lot. Check Engine Light came on, and I was able to pull the following codes: P0700: Transmission Control System (MIL Request) P0602: Control Module Programming Error / (Engine Control Module is not programmed, Wrong ECM, Faulty ECM) P161B: Battery Disconnected / TCM Internal Obviously not something anybody ..read more
