This is my diecast race track. I began work on the original track back in Feb. 2009. The original was the same size only done really sloppy with waves and duct tape. I have just purchased this model kit of Mel's Drive In from the movie American Grafitti. After about 18 hours or so, the roof is ready to go on and a few finishing touches applied. There are many tiny little pieces needed to be painted and put together. This kit is no joke and not an easy one to build. I took my time with this one so far and am pleased with the progress so far. I haven't giving up on it yet you guys I added some some hot wheels matchbox cars and also some green light collectibles for the infield emergency vehicles. I even made the score board. I gotten all the balsa wood from hobby lobby also painted it. Check out the details on the garage area of the new pit crew sets zoom in so you can see all the cool display items. I've been working on this for two weeks now. I also founded a full sears set of Collector's Diecast 24 cars and the case of 1/64 cars for a Stock Car 1990's. Which will be here Monday. I got these 1/64 sets at walmart and diecastdepotshop. This track is in honor of the North Wilkesboro Speedway All Star race in May 2023. I plan to make some stop motion videos. NASCAR can’t just revival in life size real life but also in miniature scene aromas 1/64 diecast models. I finally finished the North Wilkesboro race track. Yes indeed it has lights like in real track and outer inner safety barrier walls are all finished. They are not painted like a cigarette because of WCS.
