I received this cracked and busted, missing a few parts, AMT Ferrari in a trade a while back.  It had been sitting around for a while and I had been thinking I could try to make a diorama with it.  I’ve never created a diorama or tried to weather a model before, so I learned quite a bit along the way and had fun doing it, so I think that means it was a success! It's a Ferrari 250 GT SWB that has seen better days.  While it was once a promising project car, it now sits weathered and faded by time as the earth begins to slowly embrace it as a long-lost Italian son.   The base ..read more

Is anything ever really finished though. Learned a lot during this build got ideas from others and tips for the next one. But for now this will work. My dad had a body shop here locally so I put one of the stickers up in memory of him and he built models.  Added some messing paint on the bench screwdriver in wall to show his anger at times haha it was a fun build. For the nova wagon under tarp waiting its turn. Don’t like how the “guide coat” turn out think can do better next time.  ..read more

1/43 scale diorama of a Gulf station in the summer of '69. Scratch built structures, made of basswood. The "wall" on the right is plaster of Paris. The cars are AMT kits. So i found these very realistic chain link fences.Where have been these been all my life?Seriously,Im sure these have been around a long time,but I just found them on Ebay by mistake.These are great.For awhile i was making my own chain link fences.,and they came out like garbage.You gotta love Woodland Scenics products.I know some of pictures clearly show the fences upside down ..read more
