Wearing new Polish laminate furniture, a Polish sling, East German bayonet, Bulgarian poly 40, and Phoenix Industries Palm Swell AK grip. FSB is dead straight, and fit and finish is awesome. This is My AK-47. It is actually the first gun of any kind that I actually bought myself. It was brand new in the box with all accessories and purchased at a flea market (my how times have changed). It's a chicom so it has a lot of stampings. It's also chambered in 5.56. My brother and I used to get a lot of looks at the range when reloading AK and AR-15 mags out of the same can. I was at a yard sale the other day and a guy had (what I think) was three AK 80% lowers on the table. They are pre-bent. I asked him what he wanted them for and he said, "take em, I don't even know what they are." So I did! My question is, how hard would it be to make a rifle, using a jig and parts kit?
