Is hot glue safe to use on things you're putting in the tank? I recently got a wicker shelf type thing that I'm planning to put some feet on to make sure the underside gets air circulation, and maybe to put some fake plants on as well. So I got my two Hermies several months ago, did a PPDS tank for a month and then moved them into the main tank with my other guys. One of them I assumed was molting, since he was closer to the glass I covered it so no light could get in. I recently observed the sand around where he had dug was discolored like a liquid was forming. I KNOW I SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE IT. But I dug him up and then placed him back where he was several minutes later because the difference in Molting and Death is SO similar. This is Hue and Dozer. I’m wondering if Dozer could be a mix as he is the only crab in the tank that is in a D opening shell and since his molt (he went down for about a month or longer not long after this video that I screenshotted) he is a very light yellow orangey color, but does still have the purple pincher. I believe Hue is a purple pincher, but he is also lighter than the others. Sorry for the blurry pictures i tried my best to get the clearest ones i could from the video.
