Anyone else have an issue with their 2015-2019 transmission not going into gear? My Tahoe was reading 198F°-203° for fluid temp before I completely lost the ability to drive. It works, only issues I’m having is my left front tire is sitting about an inch further back than the passenger front (for some odd reason), so I’m only rubbing on the parking brake line behind the FD tire at close to full wheel lock (yes I performed the “NorCal” cut, but only on the driver side, passenger side cleared with no modification). I have 2 inch spacers all around, and the rears clear completely with no cutting. My tahoe is stuck in 4hi, before I change the whole transfer case, I figured I'd ask the wise community of reddit for help. The only way it will drive is when the 4hi button is lit, it will also run in auto 4wd, but you can tell it's still just riding In 4hi by the way it handles ( its very obvious. ) when I hit 2wd it will switch the light, but it just makes a funny sound (kind of like a buzzing sound or something) and will just roll like it's in neutral. Wife blew a hole in the radiator of her 2004 Tahoe LT 5.3L. Need it fixed ASAP but the closest salvage yard is slim pickings They have about 15 Blazers but there's only 2 suspected matches at my local u-pull-it. One from a 2001 Tahoe that I know will fit. But, from the pics on the website, the old girls been beat to hell and back. There's also a 2002 Avalanche that looks damn near new at the same yard. Not much info aside from a few pictures on the website, but it appears to be the same motor as my Tahoe. Just for reference, will be a secondary vehicle, not a DD. It’ll be my “heavy” for pulling/hauling equipment and the odd honey-do projects. It looks like my budget will limit me to +200k mile specimens both gens. While I can wrench on trucks I hate wrenching, so I don’t want to be working on it every weekend. As far a “overlanding” I’m using the term pretty loosely, I’m not doing the TAT. Mostly forest roads and the occasional 2 track. At most I’ll do lockers, 33’s and a leveling kit. Was having very rough idling and could tell there was misfiring. P0325 (Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction) code was showing. Replaced both knock sensors with ACDelco sensors. Drove to get gas and a car wash with no issues. Drove the next day to work with no issues. Idle and acceleration are both smooth and great and I don't hear any knocks/misfiring.. Coming home, engine light came on. Checked and it's showing a P0325 code again. Both idle and acceleration are still smooth and great and no knocking.
