i have 2004 Tahoe 2WD that has only been on good streets. No noise or issues but I just greased my fittings and most ok but a couple leak and they just look old. Vehicle in the shop due to P050D code. Scans show misfire on #6 & #7 cylinders. Shop performs fuel system cleaning and says misfires are fixed and code is cleared. I recently purchased a 1996 Chevy Tahoe from the original owner. It has 146,000 miles on it, almost in mint condition. Very well maintained and taken care of, runs & drives perfect. Started noticing when i check fluids once a month that my coolant reservoir is low. Today I looked around and saw a little fluid puddled at the passenger side steam tube connector but think it is just a low spot that collected fluid from elsewhere? I used a black light just to see it better but not sure if it is actually glowing. Also Is it just me or does my belt tensioner appear to be coming apart? So im having an issue with my 05 tahoe. Replaced the t case because it was making a loud rattling noise when in 4wd. Installed a reman unit with a new encoder motor. Now when i go to press 4 high button it will flash a couple times and go straight into auto. And auto works fine i already test drove it and the front actuator is engaging. Also 4 low works as well.
